POWER IN PARTNERSHIP

A campaign that champions allyship as action, not just intention.

“We Act!” made allyship visible. It sparked dialogue, encouraged reflection, and invited people to step into the fight for gender equality during International Women’s Day 2025. It mattered because it went beyond awareness and created space for real involvement. This was about calling people in rather than calling them out.

Born from the radical roots of International Women’s Day.

Inspired by the protest placards that shaped the history of International Women’s Day, the logo embraced a hand-made quality. The letterforms were intentionally imperfect, with slightly offset lines and a variable font system that allowed us to highlight the word “We” across all materials. The visual system had to feel bold, accessible, and unpolished in the best way.

Instead of relying on the often-used imagery of shouting mouths, we focused on gestures of action. A collage of arms and hands became the main graphic, symbolising a range of people showing up and doing the work. It brought energy, diversity, and a sense of shared momentum.

Social and digital impact

This campaign drove both conversation and action. It resulted in 490 website signups, 91 reposts on LinkedIn, 5.8k views on Instagram, and 94 new followers. It also reached a PR editorial audience of 1.7 million.

Beyond the digital, the campaign came to life through a protest activation in Farringdon, London. The location was a deliberate choice, placing the movement at the heart of the city’s creative community.
